Manatee & Sarasota Counties
Newer homes, bigger rooms, and owners who want the trim to stop looking like everyone else’s. That is most of what we build out here.
Request a QuoteLakewood Ranch spans the Manatee and Sarasota county line, and the housing stock is young. That changes what millwork is for. There is very little to restore and almost nothing to match. The work is about adding architecture that was never there.
Most of what we are asked for here follows the same pattern. The house was delivered with a standard trim package, the rooms are large with high ceilings, and the base and crown are undersized for the volume. Scale is the fix, and scale is a milling question.
Coffered ceilings, beam grids, feature walls, built-in libraries, and stair rebuilds are the recurring scopes, plus whole-home trim programs on the custom builds still going up.
What Lakewood Ranch Asks For
Ten- and twelve-foot ceilings need crown and base sized to match. A stock colonial profile in a room that tall reads as an oversight. Built-up assemblies solve it without a single absurd piece of wood.
Great rooms here have the volume for it, and nothing changes a room faster. Beam grids, box beams, and coffer details laid out to the room rather than to a template.
Floor-to-ceiling shelving, window seats, and office built-ins fitted to the architecture, the upgrade most often requested once owners have lived in the house a year.
Replacing a builder stair with hand-shaped handrails, turned or square balusters, and treads in the species of the floor.
