Custom millwork in Bradenton

Profile matching for the older stock, whole-home millwork for the new builds, and a shop close enough to run a sample over before anything gets milled.

Two kinds of work, one county

Bradenton splits neatly into two millwork problems. West of the interstate, the housing stock has age on it: bungalows, mid-century ranches, and waterfront homes that have been renovated more than once. Work there is usually about matching something that already exists.

East of I-75 it is mostly new construction, and the question is the opposite: what should the trim program be, and how far past builder-grade does the owner want to go.

We build for both. The shop is a short run up from Bradenton, which matters more than it sounds. It means samples, field measurements, and phased deliveries are practical instead of a scheduling problem.

The work out here

i.

Profile matching for older homes

Renovations and additions in the older neighborhoods almost always need a profile that no longer exists in a catalog. We grind knives to match a sample so new work disappears into the original.

ii.

Coastal humidity and salt air

Waterfront and near-shore homes move more. Species selection, quartersawn stock, and joinery that tolerates seasonal change all matter more here than they do inland.

iii.

Whole-home packages on new builds

For new construction east of the interstate, we run complete trim programs: base, casing, crown, ceiling detail, and stairs, coordinated and delivered in phases to match the schedule.

iv.

Commercial and hospitality

Reception millwork, paneled walls, and casework for offices, restaurants, and hospitality spaces across Manatee County.

Common questions

Do you deliver and install in Bradenton?
Yes. Bradenton and Manatee County are core service area for us, and the shop is close enough that field measuring, sample approvals, and phased delivery are straightforward.
Can you match the molding in an older Bradenton home?
That is one of the things we do most. Bring a scrap of the existing profile, or we will pull a sample on a site visit. We grind the knives to the profile and run it, so the new work reads as original.
Do you work directly from architect or designer drawings?
Yes. Most of our work comes through general contractors, custom builders, architects, and interior designers working from a drawing set and a millwork schedule. Send the drawings and we will quote from them.
What species do you recommend for a waterfront home?
It depends on exposure and whether the space is conditioned, but mahogany, sapele, and white oak all behave well in this climate. How the piece is built matters as much as the species. See our guide to wood and Florida humidity.
Do you take on small jobs?
We quote each job on its own terms. A single room of crown or one built-in is a real project. Send us the scope and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right shop for it.
How far ahead should we schedule millwork?
Custom profiles need knife grinding and milling time, and finish schedules add to it. The earlier the millwork package is specified, the easier it is to hold the construction schedule. Call the shop and we will give you a realistic lead time for your scope.
